Snow at sidewalks

It is cold at the moment, and house owners has a daily work to do, as they are are obligated to remove snow from the sidewalk along their house. If not removed, and someone then fall, the houseowner can be set responsible for their health costs

There are no sidewalks in front of my home as I am in a semi-rural area, but in town, property owners can be charged a cleaning fee if they fail to shovel the sidewalks in front of their homes within 24 hours after receiving a notice to do so.
I love the blue shadows on the snow in your photo. Shoveling is a big job, but doesn’t take away from snow’s beauty.
That’s proper snow! We’ve only had a few centimeteres here in Cambridge.
