Today is Tivoli´s 170th birthday. The old garden appeals to people of any age, and any level of dramatic pleasure.
Visit Denmark, article
170th is awesome. Happy Birthday to a beautiful garden.
Thank you Cocomino. There are by the way also a small Japanese garden in Tivoli, – or at least an attempt to make one.
That’s a good news.
I have some wonderful memories of visits to Tivoli including getting an autograph from the famous Danish actor Dirch Passer. Mange tak til en dejlig Dame – Tivoli
Oh, did you really get an autograph?
There is a film about Dirch Passer from 2011: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706596/ – you know he was very poppular.
I did, and I still keep it in the shoebox along with all the other treasures I collected along the way. I will make sure to watch the movie. Thank you for your posts. I really enjoy them.
I have not been to Tivoli yet, but one beautiful day it will happen…
…and even more beautiful photos will appear on your blog. I´l be happy to see them.
A bit late, but still; Happy Birthday!
Thank you – on behalf of Tivoli.
Tivoli is definitely on my list of ‘must visit when in Denmark’ sites. Beautiful!
Very good Reggie, I want to join you then.
That would be wonderful, Birgitte.
