Do you buy tap water from the government or public company?
Consumers pay the municipality for the water, I am not quite sure how the payment are behind this, it seems like the water has a long way to run before it ends in our glasses. The waterpipes are owned by different parts, depending on where it is situated, the houseowner has the first little part from the house and out to the bigger line. From here, he has to pay “rent” for using the line owned by the municipality, who probably pay for renting the bigger pipe…you know, one of the more complicated thing is to calculate what to pay, I guess most people just pay what,s on the bill. 🙂 Thank you for your question, I will probably be learning more about this from now on!
Thank you for reply. I learned a lot. It was difficult to know other countries things. 🙂
