Lifeguards and their flags

Red flag: Warning, do not swim.

Yellow flag: Be very carefull, possible danger, ask the lifeguard.

Red/yellow stribe flag: OK. The lifeguard is watching the area between the two flags.

    Though two of my sons worked as lifeguards for many years, and all three were junior lifeguards when they were boys, I never knew the meaning of the flags until now. The waters are pretty cold here too but they are getting warmer🙂
