812 is very large and I have never heard only female rooms

It is told to be the largest hotel in Scandinavia.
The female rooms have caused a trial, (still going on, as far as I know) because some people claim that the law about equality has been violated. Others appreciate the idea, and enjoy the rooms.🙂

I think the all female floor is a great idea. Having had the experience of attending an all girls school for five years as a teenager, I know there are many benefits to having spaces that are exclusive to women. The same can be said of spaces that are exclusive to men. Equal can also mean different – too complex a concept for some people unfortunately.

I agree with you, why denying the benefits? We are talking about 20 rooms out of 812, it doesn’t sound like any risk of not getting a room.

What a fascinating idea, to have a separate floor for women only.

I love your picture – such an unusual angle!
