A new flagday, for the soldiers

September 5, 2012

September 5 is a new official Flag Day, (from 2010) made to honour soldiers who have been on international missions for Denmark since 1948.
The day is celebrated all over the country, in Copenhagen with a march from the old castle Rosenborg, through the city to the Copenhagen town hall square, by the soldiers who recently have returned from Afghanistan.

The photos in this post is from 2010.

The town is very beautiful and clean like Finland. The event sounds important.
