What an extraordinary taste explosion that must be! WOW! And kids get this in their school lunch packs?

Yes Reggie, you are right, is has a wide taste, if one can say so. It is accepted as a part of the lunch packet, though of course, the ideal is no sugar at all. But that is difficult to practice, and as I wrote to Finn, it is told to be better than candy, which I believe.

I’ve never seen it on rye bread before, I always ate it on franskbrød. As Reggie said – a taste explosion!

You know, today bread are supposed to be dark and with whole grains, to be accepted as healthy. Sugar is almost banned, but a little dark chocolate is luckily OK, if only it is very dark. If you want to enjoy a “chokolade-mad”, bread with chocholate – but at the same time also want to meet all these requirements, the solution is at hand, – use dark wholemeal bread with a layer of dark chocolate. It tastes well, and is said to be better than a piece of candy. In the good old days when we were children, everything was much easier, and white bread and light chocholate was quite all right, I can´t imagine anyone would think of using ryebread back then, except if they didn´t have money for the fine white bread. Times are changing.🙂

Times are indeed a-changing. But not necessarily for the better!
