Fandens fødselsdag / The devil´s birthday

December 11, 2012

nisse orkester

December 11 is also called “The devil´s birthday”, so is June 11. The reason is that these two days were chosen as far back as in back in 1888 or even before, as time for paying taxes and rent for the house.  Now days taxes and rent are payed according to other systems, but the name is still used.

Let´s have some Nisse music to that.
