The open air museum in Lyngby, close to Copenhagen, is a perfect place for either a nice and quiet walk in the historical environment, or some active hours with lots of fun entertainment for children. The museum has (open) houses, mills and farms from all over Denmark, Skane and Faroe Islands, and historical arrangements of all kinds throughout the season. Entrance is free.

What a nice place! My children love this place because they can touch animals.

I can understand that, most children have a good connection with animals. At this place, there are many small animals, it seems very natural that they walk around the place. These sheeps had just had their fur taken off, looks a bit cold for them. 🙂
