My mother Kirstens kardemommeboller

500 gr. Hvedemel        500 gr Wheat flour
75 gr. Smør                   75 gr Butter    
50 gr. Sukker                50 gr Sugar  
50 gr. Gær                     50 g Yeast      
½ tsk. Salt                    ½ tsp. salt
2 ½ dl. Mælk               2 ½ cups. milk
1 Æg                               1 Egg

Mælken varmes til 30 grader, gæren opløses heri.   Heat milk to 30 degrees, and dissolve yeast
Bland og ælt det hele sammen.  Mix and knead it all together.

Dejen stilles til hævning i mindst 1 ½ time.  Let the dough rise at least 1 ½ hours.

Bollerne lægges på bageplade og pensles evt. med mælk eller æggehvide.
Put Buns down on baking sheet and brush with a little milk or egg white.

Bages i ca. 30 minutter på 180 grader.  Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
