Røde træsko – Red clogs

February 25, 2014

Danish red clogs

Træsko, clogs, have been used as footwear in Denmark for centuries, at least since the end of 1400, we know because they are mentioned in a document from 1481. Clogs are used as daily footwear at many work places, as well as in private life.

Are they padded inside? Are they comfortable to wear?

Hi Reggie. Clogs are very comfortable to Wear, of course it depends on the type – if they fit well. There are also “safety-clogs” meant to be used at places with risk for dropping Things or slipping. They are not padded, except for some types of boots, though this is not that common. I have boots without padding.
